UN FISC bags, as the name says are made for the products regulated by the UN association. These are usually hazardous products that can cause damage. The products that are hazardous and regulated by the UN are mostly known as the Organe book. So, all the products that fall into this category should only be carried in bags that are certified by the UN. It should have the UN symbol indicating that they have passed the test.

These bags are made with woven plastic as it’s one of the approved materials that manufacturers can use for production. There are mainly four types of bags that you can get here. These types include the following. Each of them has a different use.

• 13 H 1 - Woven plastics that come without coating and liner.
• 13 H 2 - Woven plastics where there is coating and without liner
• 13 H 3 - Woven plastics with uncoated liner.
• 13 H 4 - Woven plastics that come coated as well as with liner.

The first packing group is for rigid IBCs and not FIBCs.

There is a UN test that is carried out. The department verified many things to ensure the safety of the hazardous materials.

The test includes top lift test, tear test, drop test, stacking test, topple test, lighting test, and many more.

The tests are conducted by certified firms or commonly known as test hours. They will verify all these things and once it's passed all the tests, the house will allow the circulation of the bags with the UN mark on them. The certification given is unique and only applies to the ones that are covered within the carriage.
